What About Waste Water?
The waste water is what is left of the concoction of chemicals, waste, and water. It is then taken to a water treatment facility. The facility then takes it through many processes of which it takes out all pieces of sand and rock that could damage the treatment grinders, then it takes the rest and mixes it all together so it will be a thicker form of water with all of the soot and chemicals in it. Next, It takes the water and puts it through multiple processes where it goes through filters and chemicals are dumped into the water to make all of the toxins settle to the bottom. A newer technology has been added to the process, so then after the water settles, it goes into UV rays to kill the bad bacteria. Lastly, it goes through one more skimmer and then sent into a creek or lake. Frack water is treated in similar process. The major difference is that the frack water is treated with chemicals and then is not used for consumption. It is used for industrial use.
